As spring is in full power and Easter is upon us, I’d love to surprise you with the brand new wedding cross stitch pattern with a very romantic title “Forever Yours“. I enjoyed drawing and designing this wonderful pattern thinking back of my own important day. I am sure every stitcher will enjoy her own romantic story while stitching this piece.

The “Forever Yours” model has been stitched on 32 count Summer Sky Jobelan. This beautiful hand dyed fabby makes it even more dreamy and romantic. But the design is suitable for any counts and fabrics be it linen or Aida.

The finished size when stitched on 32 count is 11.06″ x 15″ inches or 28.10 x 38.10 cm and size in stitches is 177 x 240. This design uses 35 DMC colors and a lot of metallics, beads and Mill Hill treasures. The Bride’s lace gown and veil are very sparkly and light.

Hello dear friends!

as we are starting to get the warm and sunny weather again I felt like designing something new and fresh. I am excited to share with you the newest edition to our rapidly growing collection of feminine cross stitch designs.

I am fond of dogs and have a very cute Maltese at home so I thought about adding a furry companion to my new lady this time. I think these elegant fashionistas both look glamorous while taking an evening stroll in Paris.

The “Victoria” model has been stitched on 32 count Violet Mist linen, but it’s suitable for other counts of the fabric as well. It’s a relatively middle size design with a stitch count of 150 x 223 and almost 10″ x 14″ inches in size.

The pattern calls for 43 DMC colors, 2 colors of Kreinik #4 Very Fine Braid threads and 1 pack of Mill Hill beads. You can find the complete list of materials on the website.

how have you all been lately? It seems I have not updated you in a while, time is just flying by and we’re almost in February. It actually feels like spring here in Ontario, we’ve been blessed with unusually mild winter. Some may think it’s a curse and not a blessing though Anyway, wanted to share some latest news with all of you. I have been busy releasing a new chart called “Enchanted Melody“. It’s a beautiful pattern of a young mermaid who is trying to reach out to the man she loves by playing her magical melody.

The model is stitched on 32 count Ice Blue Belfast linen. I really liked this fabby because of the color that is suitable for both the skies and the sea. And the light shades make the bright pattern colors stand out more. The pattern calls for 7 Kreinik metallic threads, 4 packs of Mill Hill beads and 1 Mill Hill  Treasure, not to mention 28 colors of DMC threads. The beautiful mermaid actually loves sparkles and beads When I first held the model in my hands, I was surprised to feel it’s actually heavier than other designs because of extensive beadwork. So, this siren will be perfect for sparkles and beads lovers.

The “Enchanted Melody” is just above 12″ by 11″ when stitched on 32 count with the stitch area of 193 x 176. You can access the materials and more details on the pattern by following this link.

Dear Fellow Stitcher,

I hope holidays preparations are well on the way! It has not snowed much so far here in Ontario so painting and charting this new Victorian lady was so much fun and definitely helped me get into the Christmas spirit

Her name is Scarlett and she was stitched on 32 count Dove Grey linen to give it a winter evening look.

This is definitely a larger and more challenging design with a stitch count of 183 x 306 and almost 12″ by 20″ inches in size when stitched on 32 count.

The design uses 46 DMC colors and has a sparkle holiday effect to it with 6 different kinds of Mill Hill beads.

Dear Stitchers, I am very excited to annouce a lot of great news!

First, I have finalized and released most of the charts in printed format. As of now, you can purchase patterns in elegant and environmentally friendly packaging. I have uploaded a product video on YouTube demonstrating the new packaging and printed charts.

The long awaited “Milady of Spring” design has been released in a new original chart pack and added to the online store.

And last but not least, Cross Stitching Art will participate in Counted Wishes Festival which starts on September 15 and “Milady of Summer”,  elegant companion of the Spring Milady, will be released for the lanch of the Festival.
